Staten Islander, Musician and
Composer David Fetherolf
A composer who pushes hard against the edges of classical composition, Fetherolf mixes orthodox and unorthodox instruments, methods and timing to create exquisitely tense and delicate orchestral works, and pieces that build in powerful layers to bold crescendos of sound. Fetherolf began studying music when he was five. As he matured, his attention moved from playing the violoncello to composing. His compositions are now played worldwide. David is the Editor / Production Manager of Premier Works for G. Schirmer/AMP, and is a member of Random Access Music, a group of NYC-based composers. Read more >
